Synopsis:

In 180, Siddharth plays an NRI – a doctor in the USA and Priya Anand plays his wife. Illfate drives in the form of cancer to Siddharth drives him to part from Priya and he flies to India where he meets Nitya Menon; and Nithya falls to him and proposes for which Siddharth rejects. Nitya meets an accident; Siddharth brings her to US and treats her and his journey continues to Brazil

How they performed?:

Siddharth, who hasn’t been in the good form has pinned high hopes on 180. Siddharth haven’t seen a hit post Bommarillu. His last two outings Anaganaga Oka Dheerudu and Bava resulted as disasters at the BO. He had performed really well in a character which is exactly made for him but sadly this is a film which might win him crtics’ acclaim but not a commercial success

Nithya Menon, who proved her mettle with Ala Modalaindi, had proved that her success in not by stroke of luck. All the hard work she put on can be seen onscreen.

Priya Anand who was seen in Leader and Rama Rama Krishna Krishna is banking heavily on this movie for further chances in Tollywood. She performed okay with too much skin show.

Technical Departments:

The movie can proudly boast its exotic and unseen locations. The DI Work of the movie and Colouring is excellence delievered.  The music is very soothing and refreshing perfectly blend with the situation of the scenes. Jayendra, the debutant had failed to make a mark with his first. Editing is bad. Dialogues by Anuradha should have been a lot better.

Final Say:

The movie has an uncanny resemblance with Siddharth’s earlier movie – Oye and Prabhas’ Chakram. The only difference is here the hero suffers from cancer where as heroines suffers from cancer in Oye. The movie has much tragic quotient in the movie with almost negligible entertainment which might not favour the movie’s result.

Box office Prediction:

I seriously doubt if Telugu audience can accept a movie like 180 which do not have ‘Happy Endings’ in movies.As there no major releases in near future, The movie may breathe a little at the box office.

180 Review:180 Movie Review: 180 Telugu Movie Review: After a series of flops, Siddharth is desperate to prove that his 180 review is positive. Siddharth wants to strike back with good 180 movie review and set things alive in Tollywood. To find out how far Siddharth was successful, we need to get into 180 Telugu movie review.

180 Movie Story

Siddharth performs the last rites of his kin in Varanasi, where he sees a small boy also performing his father's last rites and then happily playing with his toy car. Siddharth then realizes the philosophy of life, which is not worrying about death but enjoying every day to the fullest. Cut to Siddharth, he is leading a very happy life in Chennai. A press reporter (Nithya Menon) will be fascinated by Siddharth and slowly turns that relationship into love and proposes him. But Siddharth negates her and tries to run away. In this process, Nithya Menon meets with an accident and this forces Siddharth to take her to US for treatment.

Cut to flashback, Siddharth is a doctor in US and has a deeply loving wife Priya Anand. 3 months after their marriage, Siddharth is diagnosed with a disease where he has just only 180 days (6 months) to live. Siddharth then makes Priya Anand believe that he has committed suicide and he never plans to go back to US but destiny brought him back. What will Siddharth do then? What happens to Priya Anand and Nithya Menon? And how does Siddharth follow the life philosophy taught by the Varanasi boy forms the rest of the story.

180 releasing with 19 prints in USA

Siddharth, Priya Anand and Nithya Menen starrer 180 is all set for its release on June 25. The film was censored last week and the Telugu version has been given a U/A certificate and the Tamil version has been given a U certificate. Sources close to the film have told us that the film will be released with 19 prints in USA. This includes 15 prints of the Telugu version of 180 and the remaining 4 are of the Tamil version. All the prints have already been dispatched last night and the film will release on time in US. Directed by P Jayendra, the film is said to be a romantic drama and it marks the return of Siddharth to this genre of urban romance after quite sometime. Sharreth Vasudevan had composed the music and Balasubramaniam is the cinematographer.

RGV's 'Not a Love Story' gruesome First look

Ram Gopal Varma’s ‘Not A Love Story’ is based on the infamous Neeraj Grover case that made headlines in 2008. If the poster looks gruesome to you, you should have a look at what director RGV had to say about the film. “In the summer of 2008, two lovers killed a man, had sex in front of (his) dead body, then cut the body into pieces and disposed the body parts in a jungle. It is inspired from the Maria Susairaj-Neeraj Grover murder case,” tweeted the filmmaker.

Deebak Dobriyal is almost unrecognizable in the photo! While the poster may be as morbid as RGV’s movies go, what caught our eye was the poster of Aishwarya Rai in the background. Heroines And Their Remunerations

The major difference between the career prospects of heroes and heroines is that the former are restricted to their native states but the latter are universally accepted. The female quotient on Indian screen has been associated with glamour show and sex appeal. The heroines those are ruling the Kollywood and Tollywood screens are now aiming at Bollywood as well. The remunerations are also whopping up with huge figures.

Next, the girl in demand is Kajal Aagrwal who has shot to fame with Magadheera in Telugu and the same Maaveeran in Tamil is charging around Rs 60 lakh as per sources. She is also pairing up with Ajay Devgan in Hindi film ‘Singham’.

Taapsee Pannu, who is at present riding high of success both in Andhra and Tamilnadu, is also booked by David Dhawan for the remake of Chashme Budoor. She is around Rs 40 lakhs with respect to demand.

Hansika Motwani is comparatively not so busy in Telugu. She made failed attempts even in Hindi. But she made ample presence felt in Tamilnadu. She is coming up at Rs 30 lakhs.

Genelia’s stardom has come down and she is not in high demand now in any of the industries down south. She is still demanding Rs 1 Cr in Bollywood but wonder who pays that sum for her. She is at present doing Vipul Shah’s ‘Force’ with John Abraham. It’s a remake of Venkatesh’s ‘Gharshana’.

'My sister is scared to come out in public' : Taapsee

The film industry was abuzz with the news that Tapsee Pannu's sister Shagun Pannu, a literature student, will be debuting into films soon. A recent portfolio pics of Shagun Pannu has been out on the web. This has led to the conclusion that, Shagun is all set to sizzle on the silver screen.

However, Tapsee rubbished the report as a baseless rumour. She says her sister doesn't want to enter into tinsel town.

"It is just another bit of untrue gossip making its merry rounds. Shagun is not getting into movies at all," Tapsee says.

Tapsee says her sister is scared to even come out in public with her after this incident.

"I want to let everyone that my sister just came for a casual visit to Hyderabad. She is the closest to me in the family, but now because of all this unnecessary gossip, she is scared to even come out in public with me, since she thinks the media will write things about her!," says Tapsee.

If Shagun doesn't want to enter into films, Why she released her portfolio pics to media? And there were also reports that she has sent them to some producers and directors. What's her motto behind this? Only, Tapsee or Shagun could answer this...

Talk-Of-Town: Chinni Krishna's 'Genius' Ad

Comedies happen not only on-screen but off the screen. Few guys tickle the audiences with their 'ineffective' ideas. Best talked one such comedy is an advertisement in a Telugu newspaper last Saturday. 

The advertisement merely congratulates 'genius' writer Chinni Krishna for giving such a blockbuster story for 'Badrinath'. After delivering stupendous hit stories like Narasimha, Narasimha Naidu, Indra and Gangotri, CK's pen once again proved its sharpness, an ardent fan of CK from Guntur praised. Those who have seen the ad are saying it's 'too much', as the real culprit behind Badrinath's disastrous fate is the story given by Chinni Krishna itself. A close source to producer Allu Aravind shared that the ad is nothing but a 'self dabba' of CK in the name of an unknown person. Both the public and the film circles are blaming Chinni Krishna for such 'logic less' story, as the producer is raising eyebrows for CK's false prestige acts. Better for 'Badrinath' to open the eyes of it's own people first!
