Story line:
Prabhas as 'Vicky' is a person who never wants to compromise on his habits and qualities for others. He plays a video game developer role, works in Australia and dreams of setting up a video game company in India. Incidentally, Prabhas visits India for his sister's wedding where meets his childhood friend Priya (Kajal Agarwal). Both enter into a tangle often but after some time Priya realizes that she's in love with Vicky and their elders propse for their marriage. However, Vicky rejects the proposal saying that he does not like to see Priya sacrificing everything for him and thinks that they are not made for each other and goes back to Australia in search of his like minded girl. He comes across Taapsee and then the drama unfolds amidst a series of melo drama sequences at Taapsee's home for her sister wedding, which eventually make Prabhas realize what he lost.
Movie:
Like in Darling, It all starts with a backdrop of childhood, a cricket match of Prabhas and his friends along with Kajal. Then after titles the actual story comes ! Prabhas' entrance was the awesome Pool Fight when his friends get stabbed by some local men and Prabhas in-turn gives them a strong reply !
We wouldn't feel anything boring in the film while watching. The Prabhas-Kajal scenes were good to watch and we expect and feel something routine like in all movies but they have changed them, thanks for the team ! Taapsee entrance in second half was good.
Songs Picturisation were good and Prabhas' dance made them much more attractive.
Prabhas' characterization was good and the scenes in which he turns on his shades and give a dialogue to people who he hates was good and is imitated at the climax. We would feel some scenes in the movie alike to RAJUs previous movies Bommarillu and Brindavanam.
Comedy scenes by Brahmi & Raghu Babu were good to see and can be better !
Fights in the movie were of course at their best ! It is the macho man Prabhas with Peter Heins ! And no one can say there would be a flaw in it ! The two fights in the first half and one in the second half were really thumping and must watch scenes !
And not to reveal the story much with my description, I can say its worth watching !
Performances:
Prabhas looks elegant and classy! The characterization of having no compromise attitude for others suits him well. Kajal was as usual beautiful and has done a reasonably good job. her attitude was similar to that of Brindavanam. Taapsee was at her best. She was also beautiful and has done a good job.Brahmanandam, Shiyaji Shinde, Prakash Raj, Sameer, Vishwanath, etc are all fit and adequate in their roles.
Highlights:
- Fight scenes especially Pool Fight (Prabhas intro).
- Prabhas, Kajal and Tapsee new look.
- Prabhas-Kajal Chemistry.
- Costumes and Dialogues.
- Good Entertaining Scenes in First Half.
- Choreography and well picturised Songs.
Bottomline:
Its worth watching for Prabhas and his description, which is a very fresh-cut. Fans would enjoy the film as Prabhas was at his best and other audience will feel the movie worth watching as said because it is a Sentimental Youthful Family Entertainer.
