Mahesh Babu ‘Dookudu’ title song is superb

Most of the movies that Mahesh Babu did had a pulsating title track and it has been the ‘signature style’ of Prince. His latest movie Dookudu too will have this signature song. Thaman SS is the music director of this film.

Dookudu title song lyrics go likes this “nee dookudu satevvadu… nee oopuku addevvadu…” Typical Mahesh Babu’s song and the people who heard this song are raving so much about it. Lyrics written by Ram Jogaiah Sastry suits Mahesh Babu’s style they say.

Mahesh Babu is trying his best to bring Dookudu at the earliest possible. Bandh call affected the film’s schedule. If the situation remains the same, the unit will shift to Chennai to wrap up the remaining shooting.

Siddharth and Shruti romances in Kerala

Siddarth and Shruti Haasan’s film O My Friend shooting is being done at a very brisk pace. This film has completed more than fifty percent and is now heading to Kerala to shoot few songs in the scenic locations of Pollachi. Kerala schedule will start on 18th of July.

Venu Sriram is making debut as a director with O My Friend. Dil Raju who found his form back is the producer. Sid and Shruti teamed up again despite their first filmAnaganaga Oka Dheerudu flopped miserably.Hansika is playing second fiddle to Shruti in this film. With Siddarth’s previous film 180 biting dust at the box office, he hopes this movie to give him a memorable hit like Bommarillu.

Director Teja’s film with newcomers

Director Teja, who has the credit of introducing young talent like Uday Kiran, Nitin, Sada, Anita etc. is once again planning to do a film with all newcomers in the lead. His latest film will go to sets very soon. After shelving Savithri movie with Venkatesh, Teja moved onto pen a film that suits the debutantes.

Teja has been in a very bad form post Jayam. He didn’t taste single success since Nijam despite making many films. He took a huge break after Keka and now is finding back his lost way.Anand Prasad who produced Souryam and Wanted movies is producing this film on Bhavya Creations banner. Teja’s film with newcomers ‘Atu Itu’ was launched long back and also shooting has been done. There is no clue about what happened to that project.

Sunil and Taapsee in Tanu weds Manu remake!

Bollywood hit Tanu weds Manu will be remade in Telugu with Sunil and Taapseeplaying the lead roles. Search has been on for the suitable lead lady and finallyTaapsee was zeroed in for the Telugu version.

Kangna Ranaut played the female lead in the original for which she has won accolades. Mega Super Good Films is remaking this film in the direction of Devi Prasad, who directed films like Blade Babji and Aaduthu Paduthu in the past.

Sunil is the best suit for the male lead role in this film as it is timid and funny. Madhavan played this role in the original. Sunil who had a bad outing with KSD Appalraju will hope this film to resurrect his career as the hero.

Director VR Pratap passed away

Telugu film director Vankineni Ratna Pratap (VR Pratap) passed away on Monday evening. Pratap had been diagnosed with chronic leukemia and breathed his last after fighting with the fatal disease for many years.

VR Pratap made his directorial debut withNuvvu Vasthavani movie which was a huge hit. He has the credit of introducing Jr.NTR as the hero. NTR did Ninnu Chudalani movie under Pratap’s direction.Pratap also directed a film titled Naalo Unna Prema with Jagapathi Babu, Laya and Gajala as the leads. His last film was Gorintaku starring Rajasekhar and Meera Jasmine which was a good hit. After that Pratap didn’t do any films due to illness.

Naga Chaitanya’s Dhada releases on August 11

Nagarjuna’s son Naga Chaitanya who is riding high on 100% Love movie success, is currently busy in wrapping up his next filmDhada. This movie’s shoot is almost done except for some patch work. This is an out and out action entertainer unlike earlier films of Chaintanya.

Dhada is slated for release on August 11. The audio will be launched on July 22. Producer Shiva Prasad Reddy who is extremely confident about the film’s success is releasing this film on his own through R.R. distributors.

The scenes between Naga Chaitanya and Kajal and Chaitanya and villain would be the major highlights of this film as per producer. Dhada is directed by Ajay Bhuyan. His first directorial venture Houseful is yet to see the light.

Allari Naresh teams up with Dasari...!!!

Veteran director Dasari Narayana Rao is once again getting ready to face the camera. His last film as an actor was Mesthri which fetched him a Nandi award as the best actor. He did an angry old man character in it which had political overtones. This time he would be playing a lighter vein role.

This generation’s comedy king Allari Nareshand Dasari Narayana Rao are all set to team up for a film that is to be directed by G. Nageswara Reddy. Allari Naresh has done two successful films Seema Sasthri and Seema Tapakay in Nageswara Reddy’s direction.With Dasari’s factor the third film in this combination would be even more promising. Nothing much is known about this proposed film at the moment. Stay tuned for more details.
