Synopsis:

In 180, Siddharth plays an NRI – a doctor in the USA and Priya Anand plays his wife. Illfate drives in the form of cancer to Siddharth drives him to part from Priya and he flies to India where he meets Nitya Menon; and Nithya falls to him and proposes for which Siddharth rejects. Nitya meets an accident; Siddharth brings her to US and treats her and his journey continues to Brazil

How they performed?:

Siddharth, who hasn’t been in the good form has pinned high hopes on 180. Siddharth haven’t seen a hit post Bommarillu. His last two outings Anaganaga Oka Dheerudu and Bava resulted as disasters at the BO. He had performed really well in a character which is exactly made for him but sadly this is a film which might win him crtics’ acclaim but not a commercial success

Nithya Menon, who proved her mettle with Ala Modalaindi, had proved that her success in not by stroke of luck. All the hard work she put on can be seen onscreen.

Priya Anand who was seen in Leader and Rama Rama Krishna Krishna is banking heavily on this movie for further chances in Tollywood. She performed okay with too much skin show.

Technical Departments:

The movie can proudly boast its exotic and unseen locations. The DI Work of the movie and Colouring is excellence delievered.  The music is very soothing and refreshing perfectly blend with the situation of the scenes. Jayendra, the debutant had failed to make a mark with his first. Editing is bad. Dialogues by Anuradha should have been a lot better.

Final Say:

The movie has an uncanny resemblance with Siddharth’s earlier movie – Oye and Prabhas’ Chakram. The only difference is here the hero suffers from cancer where as heroines suffers from cancer in Oye. The movie has much tragic quotient in the movie with almost negligible entertainment which might not favour the movie’s result.

Box office Prediction:

I seriously doubt if Telugu audience can accept a movie like 180 which do not have ‘Happy Endings’ in movies.As there no major releases in near future, The movie may breathe a little at the box office.
