Theatres playing Mahesh Babu's Dookudu are thronged by lakhs of film buffs on Friday and it is no wonder that it has rewritten history on its first day. Especially the benefit shows of Dookudu got a huge response that the tickets were sold for more than thousand rupees in few areas. Generally benefit shows are meant for fans but for Dookudu, the tension among NTR fans too helped to fetch superb demand for benefit show tickets.
Nandamuri fans were in large numbers at the Dookudu premieres/fan shows/benefit shows. They are so concerned about Dookudu result because NTR's Oosaravelli is lined up for release soon. They wanted this film to flop so that their hero doesn't have competition from Mahesh for some time. They are the ones who spread the negative talk about the film after the initial shows, allege Prince fans.
Whatever it may be finally the truth prevails and Dookudu has been getting excellent response from all corners. So, NTR fans have now realized that they couldn't stop its sensations through bad propaganda and are only praying that Oosaravelli is a better film. Last year it was NTR who dominated the show with Brindavanam over Khaleja. This time Mahesh throws a bigger challenge to Junior and we have to see how he responds.
